Job summary

Elmet Technologies is hiring Machine Operators to join the Reduction department in Coldwater, Michigan. You will operate and monitor specialized manufacturing equipment, perform setups and changeovers, and help ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

We offer $22.00–$25.50 per hour with 10% day shift and 20% night shift premiums, benefits starting day one, and a path to cross-training across multiple processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Comfort around industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends.
• Willing to obtain and maintain forklift and overhead crane licenses.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in production records.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently to meet production and quality goals.
• Set up machines and perform product changeovers per production schedules.
• Monitor processes and equipment performance.
• Cross-train on Reduction department processes and equipment.
• Maintain production records, logs, and SAP entries.
• Follow inventory controls and 5S practices.
