Job summary

Cascade Engineering is seeking a Core Operator A (Machine Operator) for the Night Shift in Grand Rapids, MI. This temp-to-permanent role offers initial pay of $19.00 per hour plus a $1.20 shift premium and a quarterly bonus incentive, with a 3 days-on/4 days-off schedule including every other weekend.

You'll run machines, follow standard work, use PPE, and help maintain safety and quality across the production line. Growth opportunities exist through our Pay for Contribution program.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours per shift.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to learn Outlook, Word, Internet, data entry and internal systems such as UKG, MODS, and ACE.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required.
• Demonstrate basic math skills for measurement and counting.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and follow standard work procedures.
• Ensure quality by applying specified criteria and packaging requirements.
• Read labels and apply to packaging correctly.
• Enter scrap data into the MODS system.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas using 6S principles.
• Support Flow Cell certification and related processes.
• Clock in/out using the UKG system and adhere to company policies.
