Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Red Team Engineer to challenge our own systems and uncover hidden weaknesses before field deployment.

You will embed with Systems, GNC, Software, Hardware, Mission Ops, and Test teams, reconstruct analyses, and translate findings into actionable guidance to improve design. This cross-functional role supports funded programs across the Discovery Business Line, delivering software-defined, resilient systems on tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Active TS clearance with ability to maintain it.
• Hands-on track record designing/building and analyzing real systems.
• Proven ability to find problems others miss via adversarial review or independent verification.
• Independent ownership and execution of deliverables with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with physics-math scripting (MATLAB, Simulink, Python).
• Strong engineering background in Aerospace, Dynamics & Controls, GNC or related.
• Outstanding communication and data-visualization skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute red-team designs, models, and analyses across programs.
• Develop analysis tools and simulations to prove or break claims.
• Reconstruct and verify others' work, identifying missed issues.
• Work with Systems, GNC, Software, Hardware, Mission Ops, and Test teams.
• Bring hands-on system-building experience to catch problems in analysis.
• Present complex results clearly to engineers and leadership.
