Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Red Team Engineer to act as the adversary to its systems, finding unmodeled failure modes and design weaknesses before field deployment. The role requires hands-on experience across systems engineering, GNC, software, and hardware, with the ability to stress test trade studies and analyses.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Top Secret clearance is required.
• Hands-on track record designing/building and analyzing real engineering systems.
• Ability to find problems others miss through adversarial review and verification.
• Proven self-starter with independent ownership of deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Execute red-team designs, models, and analyses to hunt failure modes and surface assumptions.
• Develop analysis tooling and simulations to prove or break claims.
• Reconstruct and verify others' work, identifying missed errors.
• Collaborate with Systems, GNC, Software, Hardware, Mission Ops, and Test teams to translate findings into actionable guidance.
• Bring hands-on systems-building experience to catch problems in analysis, not flight.
• Present complex results clearly to engineers and leadership.
