Cogent is hiring a Security Researcher to build the offensive side of our research and turn real red team tradecraft into autonomous AI capabilities. You will own the loop from reconnaissance to post-exploitation, shaping how offensive expertise becomes agentic security features.

You will design and run full-chain operations across Windows, AD, on-prem, and cloud, while extending coverage to misconfigurations, IAM, and CI/CD with our cloud security researchers.

Formación

• 6+ years of offensive security or red team experience.
• Hands-on operator with end-to-end chaining across Windows/AD/on-prem.
• Strong coding ability to automate tradecraft (e.g., Python).
• Experience in realistic test environments or cyber ranges.
• Familiarity with detection evasion and security benchmarking.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build red team agents and the agent harness.
• Extend red team operations to full attack chains across environments.
• Incorporate evasion techniques and validate against EDR.
• Design cyber ranges and benchmarks to measure agent improvement.
• Represent Cogent in research venues and open-source forums.
