Cogent Security is seeking a Security Researcher to build the offensive side of our research, turning red team tradecraft into AI capability. You will own the loop from real attack techniques to autonomous agent behavior, shaping how we test defenses with autonomous cyber agents.

You design and build red team agents, including the harness, tools, and MCP servers, expanding them to full attack chains across Windows, Active Directory, cloud, and network, and you develop cyber ranges and benchmarks

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years in offensive security, red team operations, or adversary emulation.
• Hands-on operator with full-chain experience and detection-evasion skills.
• Builder who writes code, e.g., Python, to turn manual tradecraft into repeatable capabilities.
