Job summary

IBM is seeking a Remote Red Hat CP4i (Cloud Pak) Support professional for a 12+ month engagement. The role focuses on deploying, configuring, and maintaining Red Hat OpenShift across on-prem and cloud environments, with emphasis on CP4i integration and middleware deployment.

You will ensure high availability, perform monitoring and security validation, and work across public cloud and private infrastructure to support OpenShift platform and applications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Red Hat OpenShift deployment, operation and tuning.
• Practical hands-on CP4i (Cloud Pak) implementation and integration.
• Strong infra skills across OS, containers, middleware and deployment on OpenShift.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of OpenShift to implement, customize, operate and recover systems.
• Perform performance tuning and high availability/load balancing for the platform and middleware.
• Manage on-prem, public cloud, and as-a-service deployments of OpenShift and middleware.
• Monitor, log and ensure security compliance of the platform and applications.

Required skills:

• Infrastructure Specialist-Red Hat DevOps- Applies knowledge of the fundamental concepts and technologies associated with Red Hat OpenShift.
• Capable of performing implementation, customization, operation, recovery and performance tuning of Red Hat OpenShift.
• Has capability on Operating System, Containerization of applications which includes Middleware and deployment of those to Red Hat OpenShift platform.
• Activities include maintenance of Red Hat OpenShift platform, Middleware applications on Red Hat OpenShift platform, high availability and load balancing for the platform and middleware applications.
• Deals with on-Prem, Public Cloud and As-a-Service deployment of Red Hat Openshift; also performs monitoring, logging and security compliance of the platform and the applications deployed on top of it.
