Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Recycling and Waste Minimization Associate Manager to drive sustainability programs across retail and supply chain. The role blends on-site governance at the Richfield, Minnesota corporate office with remote collaboration to optimize budgets, vendor performance, and compliance.

You’ll turn operational data into actionable insights, partner across teams, and help deliver cost savings and program improvements that support responsible recycling and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience supporting operational, compliance, environmental, or regulatory programs.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
• Strong communication, organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, forecasts, payments and reconciliations for recycling and waste programs.
• Maintain accurate program financials, metrics, vendor scorecards and compliance data.
• Analyze data to identify cost savings, revenue opportunities and operational improvements.
• Partner with operations, finance, procurement, legal and vendors on program needs and contracts.
• Prepare recycling and waste data for regulatory, annual and public reporting.
• Support field teams by resolving issues and improving processes for compliant handling and disposal.
