The Charlotte County Board of County Commissioners seeks a Recycling Technician to collect, sort, and prepare recyclables for marketing, including OCC, newspaper, office paper, cans and plastics.
Responsibilities include operating bailers, forklifts, front-end loaders, and compactors; maintaining logs; and upholding safety standards in a general recycling facility.
Responsible for the collection, sorting, preparation and processing of recyclable materials for marketing to include old corrugated cardboard, newspaper, office paper, steel and aluminum cans, and plastics.

High School diploma or GED. Preferably one-year experience in recyclable collection, preparation, and disposal.
Valid Florida CDL License/Class B or, if a resident of Georgia, Georgia CDL.
