FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a Scale Operator for our recycling facility. You will weigh incoming and outgoing trucks, handle cash transactions, and record data to support inventory and billing.

Customer service to vendors and clients is essential for accurate and efficient operations. Responsibilities include maintaining scale calibration, assisting drivers during weigh-in, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Waste collection and recycling experience preferred.
• Proficiency in basic computer tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate scales to weigh inbound/outbound trucks and materials.
• Ensure scale calibration and proper functionality.
• Greet drivers and document weights during weigh-in.
• Handle cash payments for weighing services and issue receipts.
• Provide excellent customer service to vendors and clients during weighing.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and safety guidelines.
