Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. in Duncan, SC seeks an experienced supervisor to lead production, safety, shipping, planning and maintenance. You will set performance objectives and guide teams to meet quality and regulatory standards.

The role requires strong safety discipline, ability to train staff, manage inventories and coordinate with plant management. Willingness to travel, work nights/weekends, and pass drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of manufacturing/production supervisory experience.
• Understanding of planning and processes in a recycling environment and safety/regulatory issues.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical and governmental regulations.
• Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the work of employees.
• Ensure equipment is operated per O&M manual.
• Check incoming and outgoing materials for quality and conformity.
• Implement housekeeping, safety rules and 5S program.
• Train employees on all mobile equipment and safety processes.
• Manage material inventories and schedule trucks based on daily production.
• Maintain all safety trainings and conduct daily toolbox meetings.
• Report plant issues to the Plant Manager and implement corrective actions.
• Follow company policies and safety guidelines; wear PPE as required.
