Job summary

WM is seeking a Material Handler for its Pittman Shift in Raleigh area. You will move recyclable material through the facility, perform grading, and evaluate for sale destination. The role requires operation of forklifts/pallet jacks, data entry, and routine paperwork.

Shift is 2 on/2 off and 3 on/3 off, with day and night hours. Safety rules apply, including drug/alcohol testing where required by customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–4 years experience preferred; pre-employment drug/alcohol testing may apply.
• Experience with pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move material through the facility using material handling equipment as required.
• Load materials into vehicles and secure with straps or padding.
• Use computer to dispense and receive information (part numbers, quantities, locations).
• Convey materials from storage to designated areas and complete paperwork.
• Conduct material audits and ensure proper labeling.
