Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. in Cary, NC is seeking a Material Handler to help maintain smooth production by moving, stocking, and staging materials. You will operate forklifts, support daily manufacturing operations, and ensure inventory accuracy.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of related experience, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Weekly pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain one) required.
• Proficiency operating material-handling equipment such as forklifts and lifts, or willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of paper stock materials and production processes is a plus.
• Strong math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and teamwork with safety focus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform physical duties reliably.
• Punctuality and flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Move, stock, and stage raw materials and finished products for manufacturing processes.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Collaborate with production to support daily operations.
• Organize and manage inventory for accuracy.
• Perform material handling tasks according to production needs.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas by following safety protocols.
• Conduct daily equipment cleaning and routine maintenance, including work on automated systems.
