Atlantic Staffing Consultants is hiring a DMA Recycling Sorter and Day Shift Forklift Operator for a recycling facility in Raleigh, NC. The role combines material sorting with sit-down forklift duties and requires a safety-focused, hands-on approach.

The position offers overtime, weekly pay, and benefits, with a 6 AM to 6 PM schedule and two Saturdays per month. A minimum of two years of sit-down forklift experience is required, along with steel-toed shoes.

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent Sit Down Forklift experience
• Steel-toed shoes are required
• Ability to lift 25-65 pounds safely
• Able to stand for long periods without a break
• Willing to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift and perform daily forklift duties
• Sort and segregate recycled items (aluminum, plastic, paper, etc.)
• Deposit recoverable items into appropriate chutes safely and efficiently
• Assist other employees with heavy or bulky items as needed
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Inspect incoming loads for non-recyclable material and remove unacceptable items
• Clean assigned areas and move barrels, cans, and bins
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
