Qualifications

• Two to three years' experience operating heavy machinery in solid waste or recycling.
• OSHA 40-hour certification required within 12 months.
• EPA Type 1 certification required or to be attained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day Recycling Center operations and assist customers.
• Operate forklift, baler, grinder, and other equipment.
• Inspect handling of HHW and recover refrigerants following DOT rules.
• Maintain records, budgets, invoices, and data on materials recycled.
• Manage staff and volunteers, and coordinate with vendors.
• Prepare shipping manifests and bank deposits as needed.
