Job summary

VOALA is seeking a Recuperative Care Custodian to perform daily janitorial duties, ensuring cleanliness and safety across the facility. The role supports a housing and care program for medically fragile individuals who are homeless, with on-site work and 24/7 coverage considerations.

Responsibilities include cleaning, restocking supplies, and reporting safety issues; the ideal candidate has experience in high-traffic areas and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance and background check.
• Ability to work on-site daily and perform janitorial tasks safely.
• Experience in cleaning high-traffic areas is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily janitorial work and cleaning of assigned areas.
• Restock and clean bathrooms and kitchen; maintain sanitation.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to management promptly.
• Support cleaning of dorms, offices, and common areas.
