Job summary

VOALA is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness, safety, and order at our Pomona facility. You will perform daily janitorial tasks and minor repairs, reporting issues to management.

The position requires fingerprint clearance, ability to work with diverse and vulnerable client populations, and experience in high-traffic environments. VOALA offers competitive medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, with on-site work in Los Angeles area.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass fingerprint clearance and background check
• Ability to perform under stress with difficult clients and challenging situations

Responsibilities

• Perform daily janitorial tasks to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of the facility
• Restock bathrooms; dust, window cleaning, vacuuming, and waste management in lobby and hallways
• Perform minor repairs (carpentry, plumbing, painting) and assist maintenance teams
• Set up rooms for meetings, classes, and events; ensure tools and supplies are stocked
• Follow daily supervisor checklist; report safety concerns and deficiencies to management
• Other duties as assigned and subject to change
