Job summary

Justice Digital, Data & Science is hiring a Recruitment Operations Manager to lead onboarding and induction for new hires. You will design and implement induction programmes, ensuring new joiners feel welcomed, informed and prepared to succeed.

The role also manages Recruitment Operations Advisors, drives improvements, and coordinates with multiple stakeholders to deliver seamless onboarding across various routes, including remote onboarding.

Successful applicants who do not have agreement from their home department to return at the conclusion of this role may be subject to MoJ's redeployment and redundancy procedures., We’re recruiting for a Recruitment Operations Manager here at Justice Digital, Data and Science to be part of our warm and collaborative Recruitment Operations team.

The Recruitment Operations Manager plays a key role in delivering a high-quality onboarding and induction experience for new employees joining Justice Digital, Data & Science. This role is responsible for designing, implementing and continuously improving induction programmes that support new hires in feeling welcomed, informed and prepared to succeed at Justice Digital, Data & Science. The postholder ensures that onboarding and induction processes are aligned with organisational goals and culture. The role also manages the Recruitment Operations Advisors and contributes to fostering a culture of belonging, engagement and high performance., Leading improvements to onboarding and induction processes, balancing candidate experience, operational efficiency and stakeholder needs across multiple onboarding routes. Ensure onboarding and induction initiatives align with business goals and organisational culture. Create engaging and informative onboarding/induction materials, presentations, and training sessions. Act as a key point of contact for new hires during their onboarding and induction period, ensuring a smooth and supportive transition. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of onboarding programmes, using feedback and data to drive improvements. Stay informed on best practices and emerging trends in onboarding and induction and employee engagement. Manage, support and coach Recruitment Operations Advisors, contributing to team development and performance. Organising and facilitating Events for new starters. Work with a range of stakeholders to resolve more complex issues.

Essential Experience

Essential Experience leading improvements to onboarding and induction processes, balancing candidate experience, operational efficiency and stakeholder needs across multiple onboarding pathways. Experience organising change and improvement projects with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously Creative problem-solving skills and experience delivering innovative solutions using the various digital tools available. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation. Experience providing daily support to colleagues in a remotely based team Willingness to be assessed against the requirements for BPSS clearance
