Job summary

Somerset Skills and Learning is seeking a Recruitment and Onboarding Officer to support learners from initial enquiry through enrolment. You will recruit and onboard apprenticeship learners, promote opportunities, and build strong relationships with schools, referral partners, employers and other stakeholders.

You will provide Careers Information, Advice and Guidance to help learners select suitable pathways, attend school visits, careers fairs and community events, and ensure a positive learner

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment and onboarding is preferred.
• Proven ability to build relationships with schools, employers and partners.
• Knowledge of Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and onboard apprenticeship learners.
• Promote apprenticeship opportunities to schools, partners and employers.
• Maintain relationships with employer partners and manage vacancies.
• Attend school visits, careers fairs and community events to raise awareness.
