Job summary

The University of Illinois Chicago Retzky College of Pharmacy is seeking an Assistant Director of Recruitment to lead its recruitment and enrollment efforts for PharmD, graduate, and BSPS programs. You will work with the Assistant Dean and Senior Director of Student Affairs to implement strategic initiatives and oversee student ambassadors.

You will supervise peer advisors and coordinate outreach to prospective students, educators, and partners, using data-driven approaches to meet enrollment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 3 years in higher education admissions, recruitment, or enrollment management.
• Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating recruitment initiatives.
• Experience supervising student staff or peer leaders.
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
• Strong organizational, project management and leadership abilities.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare reports to guide decisions.
• Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel between campuses and region.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and assessment of recruitment, marketing, and yield strategies for PharmD, graduate, and BSPS programs.
• Build relationships with prospective students, parents, advisors, faculty, and partners; represent the College at events.
• Manage campus visits, information sessions, open houses, interview days, and virtual events to support enrollment.
• Supervise and coach peer advisors, ambassadors, and student recruiters; provide training and oversight.
• Analyze enrollment data, prepare reports, and inform leadership of trends and opportunities.
• Support admissions and enrollment processes and participate in policy and process improvements.
• Oversee budget, strategic planning, program assessment, events, and special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
