Job summary

The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Retzky College of Pharmacy seeks an Assistant Director of Recruitment. The role leads the college's recruitment and enrollment efforts for the PharmD, graduate, and BSPS programs, collaborating with senior leaders to meet enrollment goals.

You will supervise student ambassadors, analyze recruitment data, represent the college at events, and coordinate campus visits and interviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in higher education admissions, recruitment, enrollment management, student affairs, advising, counseling, marketing, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and evaluating recruitment or enrollment initiatives
• Demonstrated experience supervising, training, mentoring, or coordinating student employees, staff, volunteers, or peer leaders
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and public speaking skills
• Ability to travel frequently between the Chicago and Rockford campuses

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the development, implementation, and assessment of the College's recruitment, marketing, and yield strategies to support enrollment goals for the PharmD, graduate, and BSPS programs
• Collaborate with leadership to identify recruitment priorities, establish measurable goals, evaluate outcomes, and recommend improvements
• Develop and maintain relationships with prospective students and key stakeholders, including parents, pre-health advisors, counselors, faculty, alumni, and healthcare organizations
• Coordinate campus visits, information sessions, open houses, interview days, and other recruitment initiatives
• Supervise and coordinate student recruitment personnel, including peer advisors and ambassadors
