Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University invites applications for the Director for Recruitment & Strategic Engagement in the School of Pharmacy. The role leads student recruitment, social media management, and partnerships to strengthen the SOP applicant pool.

You will design new programs, oversee pathway initiatives, and manage pre-existing programs while collaborating with leadership and communications teams. The position reports to the Associate Dean for Admissions & Strategic Engagement and requires

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; years of experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel as evening and weekend work required.
• Experience fostering welcoming student environments.
• Experience in university admissions/recruitment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead student recruitment strategies for SOP and graduate programs.
• Manage campus visits, Open Houses, and college fairs.
• Develop new recruitment programs (K-12 and collegiate level).
• Oversee CRM emails, newsletters, and website content related to recruitment.
