Placements24 is seeking a Recruitment Consultant specialized in engineering for a hybrid role. You will source engineers across mechanical, civil, electrical and chemical disciplines and connect top talent with leading companies.

In this role you will manage client relationships, conduct technical and behavioral interviews, and guide candidates through offers. You will build pipelines using ATS and recruitment tools in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

About the Role

Our client, a prominent recruitment consultancy in Welkom , is looking for a specialized Recruitment Consultant focusing on the Engineering sector. This hybrid role requires a keen understanding of engineering disciplines and the ability to connect exceptional engineering talent with leading companies. You will manage client relationships, source specialized candidates, and guide them through the recruitment process. This position offers a dynamic work environment, combining remote flexibility with in-office collaboration, allowing you to leverage your expertise in a critical and growing industry. You will be a key player in identifying and placing the next generation of engineering leaders and innovators.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and recruit qualified candidates for a wide range of engineering positions (e.g., mechanical, civil, electrical, chemical).

Requirements

• Experience in recruitment, preferably with a specialization in engineering roles .
• Solid understanding of various engineering disciplines and technical requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines effectively.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
