Placements24 in London is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to specialize in the automotive sector. You will manage end-to-end recruitment from briefing clients to sourcing, assessing, and placing candidates across engineering, manufacturing, and commercial roles in the East London region.

This hybrid role combines remote work with regular time in our East London office. You’ll build strong client partnerships, stay ahead of automotive trends, and drive a high-quality recruitment

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in recruitment consultancy with a focus on automotive.
• Proven success recruiting for technical and commercial roles.
• Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Experience with recruitment databases and ATS.
• Hybrid work environment with office collaboration.
• Degree in Engineering or Business is a plus.

You will manage the complete recruitment process, from understanding client needs to sourcing, assessing, and placing candidates for technical, engineering, manufacturing, and commercial roles. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate candidate and client records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

• Collaborate with colleagues to share market insights and enhance recruitment delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment consultancy, with a demonstrated focus on the automotive sector.
• Proven success in recruiting for technical and commercial roles within the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, engineering disciplines, and market dynamics.

• Proficiency in using recruitment databases and ATS.
