Job summary

The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville seeks a Recruitment Coordinator to oversee recruitment efforts and support admissions in alignment with college programs and pathways.

You will collaborate with the Recruitment Coordinator, Dean of Student Services, Director of Student Life and Engagement, and faculty to ensure recruitment initiatives are well supported and implemented to the fullest. Salary ranges and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and in public presentation settings.
• Ability to qualify to drive on state business.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• One to two years of experience in a direct college admissions or recruitment role (preferred).

Responsibilities

• 50% Student Recruitment & Outreach: visits to high schools, businesses and community orgs to recruit prospective students.
• Represents UACCB at college and career fairs and business expositions.
• Provides admissions and career counseling related to programs and pathways.
• Attends evening recruitment events and completes limited overnight travel.
• 40% School & Community Events: maintain contact with counselors and partners; organize and participate in events.
• 5% Campus Events & Ambassador Training: plan campus tours and train student ambassadors.
• 5% Institutional Support: assist recruitment/admission and participate in work groups and committees.
