Job summary

Pilatus Aircraft USA in Colorado is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to lead full-cycle recruitment across aviation, manufacturing, skilled trades, and professional roles.

You will partner with hiring managers across multiple locations and time zones, drive proactive sourcing, conduct interviews, manage candidate pipelines, and oversee onboarding for accepted offers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience in aviation, manufacturing, skilled trades, technical, corporate, or professional environments preferred.
• Demonstrated success independently developing sourcing strategies and recruiting passive candidates for difficult-to-fill roles.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office; Paylocity and LinkedIn Recruiter experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independent management of full-cycle recruitment from hiring intake through accepted offer, including job postings, application review, interview coordination, candidate travel, and offer preparation.
• Assessment of staffing needs and recruitment strategies with hiring managers across locations/time zones.
• Proactive identification and engagement of qualified candidates, including passive candidates for difficult roles.
• Independent candidate interviews and assessments, evaluation of qualifications, and hiring recommendations.
• Management of multiple open positions and pipelines with regular communication of progress and challenges.
• Coordination of candidate communication, pre-employment screenings, reference checks, and onboarding transition.

The Recruiting Specialist supports hiring across Pilatus Aircraft USA, including aviation, technical, skilled, and professional positions. The role is responsible for full-cycle recruitment, from hiring intake through accepted offer, with a focus on proactive sourcing, effective hiring manager partnerships, and a positive candidate experience.

What you do

• Independent management of full-cycle recruitment from hiring intake through accepted offer, including job postings, application review, interview coordination, candidate travel, and offer preparation


• Assessment of staffing needs and recruiting challenges with hiring managers across multiple locations and time zones; development and recommendation of effective sourcing and recruitment strategies


• Proactive identification and engagement of qualified candidates, including passive candidates for difficult-to-fill technical, skilled trades, and professional positions


• Independent candidate interviews and assessments, evaluation of qualifications against position requirements, and hiring recommendations


• Management of multiple open positions and competing hiring priorities, including talent pipelines and regular communication of recruiting progress and challenges


• Coordination of candidate communication, pre-employment screenings, reference checks, employment verifications, and transition of accepted candidates to onboarding

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience


• Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including independent responsibility from hiring intake through offer; experience in aviation, manufacturing, skilled trades, technical, corporate, or professional environments preferred


• Demonstrated success independently developing sourcing strategies and recruiting passive candidates for difficult-to-fill technical, skilled trades, or professional positions


• Experience independently conducting interviews, evaluating candidate qualifications, and providing hiring recommendations


• Experience managing multiple open positions and partnering directly with hiring managers across multiple locations and time zones


• Experience using applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office; Paylocity and LinkedIn Recruiter experience preferred

What we offer

• 11 paid holidays a year, plus 15 days of paid vacation time, and 6 days of paid sick/personal time to start with an increase to 20 days of paid vacation time after 5 years with Pilatus

• The hiring range is $85,000 - $95,000 per year. Pay rate to be determined based on a combination of factors including, but not limited to relevant skills & experience, education, job location, internal equity, and alignment with market data
