Job summary

LEAPS in Spokane, WA is seeking a Recruiter and HR Generalist to support full-cycle recruiting and HR duties across ABA and clinical-adjacent roles.

You will source, screen, interview, coordinate interviews, manage applicant tracking, onboarding support, and build talent pipelines for Washington state clinics. This role requires collaboration with site leaders and compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct phone screenings and initial assessments.

• Recruit for ABA-related roles; verify BACB certification and WA licensing requirements.
• Support pre-employment steps: background checks, references, drug screenings, credential verification.
• Provide regular updates on recruiting metrics and candidate pipeline.

Spokane, WA (onsite) role supporting full-cycle recruiting and HR generalist responsibilities for ABA and clinical-adjacent hiring across Washington State.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from sourcing through onboarding support
• Post and manage job advertisements on Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, company websites, and industry-specific job boards
• Source candidates using recruiting platforms, networking, referrals, career fairs, and professional associations
• Conduct phone screenings and perform initial candidate assessments
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
• Maintain applicant tracking systems and keep candidate records current and accurate
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
• Recruit for ABA-related roles, including:
  • Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Licensed Assistant Behavior Analysts (LABAs)
  • Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)

• Partner with Clinical Administrators and department leaders to identify staffing needs

• Provide regular updates on recruiting metrics and candidate pipeline status
• Recommend recruiting strategies and incorporate market trend insights
• Support offer letter preparation and offer negotiation coordination
• Coordinate pre-employment steps, including:
  • Background checks
  • Reference checks
  • Drug screenings (if applicable)
  • Credential verification
• Support candidate onboarding and transition into employment
• Maintain accurate recruiting records and documentation
• Track recruiting metrics, including:
  • Time-to-fill
  • Source effectiveness
  • Candidate conversion rates
  • Offer acceptance rates
• Ensure compliance with federal employment laws
• Ensure compliance with Washington State employment regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered)
• Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience
• Experience with full-cycle recruitment
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems
• Ability to manage multiple open positions at the same time
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
