Job summary

EQVAL Group, Inc. is hiring a Recruiters / Talent Acquisition Lead to support strategic, people-centered hiring for regulated industries across Puerto Rico.

This role is 100% on-site in Mayagüez, PR, and focuses on end-to-end recruiting while partnering with customers to align staffing decisions across the hiring lifecycle. The position is designed for recruiters who can manage both active and passive pipelines, use recruitment platforms effectively, and maintain accurate systems of record

Qualifications

• BA in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven work experience as a Recruiter or similar role in the manufacturing industry (Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnologies).
• Experience with sourcing techniques.
• Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Bilingual written and spoken communication in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Implement efficient and effective recruiting strategies and methods.
• Understand technical and role-specific requirements from customers in regulated industries, including Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, and Biotechnologies.
• Execute accurate candidate profiling and sourcing strategies for active and passive candidates for current and future opportunities using recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and ATS.
• Oversee the full recruitment process, including pre-screening, interviews, feedback, and offer negotiation and acceptance.
• Maintain clear, strong candidate communication to support a positive experience and sustained candidate engagement.
• Perform job fit analysis, providing insights and recommendations on candidate suitability for roles.
• Submit candidate profiles into the customer HRIS and participate in team meetings to support alignment and effective staffing decisions.
• Ensure the ATS and visual management tools are kept up to date so candidate data remains reliable for sourcing, selection, and recruitment planning.
