Job summary

Mentor Technical Group (MTG) is seeking a Strategic Talent Partner in Puerto Rico to lead full-cycle recruitment for professional, technical, and leadership roles. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Admin, Psychology, Organizational Development or related field required; Master's preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of Talent Acquisition experience.
  • Experience partnering with Hiring Managers and business leaders.
  • Experience recruiting technical, engineering, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other specialized positions preferred.
  • Experience within Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device, Food & Beverage, and Healthcare industries is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Talent Acquisition advisor for assigned business units, providing strategic guidance on workforce planning, talent acquisition strategies, labor market conditions, and talent availability to support business objectives.
  • Partner with business leaders and Hiring Managers to identify current and future workforce needs, assess talent gaps, and develop recruitment strategies aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for professional, technical, leadership, and specialized positions, from requisition planning through offer acceptance and onboarding transition.
  • Design and execute targeted sourcing and recruitment strategies for critical, hard-to-fill, high-volume, and business-critical positions to ensure timely acquisition of qualified talent.
  • Develop and maintain proactive talent pipelines and talent communities to support ongoing and future workforce requirements.
  • Analyze labor market trends, recruiting metrics, and workforce data to provide recommendations that improve hiring effectiveness, workforce planning, and recruitment outcomes.
  • Monitor, analyze, and interpret key recruitment metrics to drive data-informed decisions and continuous process improvement.
  • Prepare and present recruitment dashboards, workforce analytics, hiring forecasts, and executive-level reports.
  • Recommend and implement innovative recruiting practices, technologies, and automation solutions to enhance talent acquisition effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, company policies, and EEO requirements.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and audit-ready recruitment records within ATS and HRIS.
  • Promote fair, equitable, inclusive, and accessible hiring practices that support DEIB initiatives.
  • Participate in audits, compliance reviews, and reporting activities related to recruiting practices and employment regulations.
  • Utilizes strong communication and interpersonal skills daily to build trust and influence leaders and employees across the organization.

About the Role:

The Strategic Talent Partner serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders by providing strategic talent acquisition solutions aligned with organizational objectives. This role partners closely with Hiring Managers to understand workforce needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and deliver data-driven recommendations that improve hiring outcomes. The position is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle while acting as a consultant on talent market trends, workforce planning, employer branding, and hiring best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of Talent Acquisition experience.
  • Experience partnering directly with Hiring Managers and business leaders.
  • Experience recruiting technical, engineering, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other specialized positions preferred.
  • Experiencewithin the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device, Food and Beverage, and Healthcare Industries is highly desirable.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), recruitment technologies, and other business software applications, with the ability to effectively utilize technology to support talent acquisition, reporting, data management, and workforce planning activities.

  • Preferred Certifications: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR, AIRS Certification, LinkedIn Recruiter Certification.

Physical Demands
