Job description

We are seeking a remote Recruiter Support Specialist to join our team in Colombia.

We are looking for someone who can perform administrative tasks efficiently throughout the day, primarily skilled in MS Word and Adobe PDFs (quickly editing documents and resumes). Experience with AI tools is a plus as we incorporate more of this technology daily.

Working Hours: Close to US time zones (Central or Eastern)

What we are looking for?
  • Skills and experience in recruiting and administration.
  • US Geography Expertise: Strong understanding of US regions, states, major cities, economic hubs, and industry clusters (e.g., manufacturing in the Midwest, construction in Texas, engineering in Silicon Valley).
  • Knowledge of regional nuances, such as cost-of-living differences, relocation trends, and local job markets.
  • Ability to map client locations and candidate pools geographically to enhance sourcing strategies.
  • Sourcing and Recruitment Platform Proficiency: Advanced experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and other job boards.
  • Skilled in Boolean search techniques for targeted candidate sourcing.
  • Ability to navigate LinkedIn for candidate research at competitor firms or within specific industries.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) for managing candidate pipelines.
Industry and Role-Specific Knowledge
  • Deep understanding of construction, engineering, and manufacturing industries and key roles.
  • Familiarity with industry certifications and their impact on candidate qualifications.
  • Knowledge of industry ecosystems and company interactions.
Additional Skills
  • Competitor analysis and talent mapping skills.
  • Proficiency with tools like LinkedIn, Crunchbase, or Hoovers for researching companies and talent pools.
  • Ability to interpret job descriptions and match candidate profiles accurately.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Cultural awareness of US workplace norms.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and strategic thinking abilities.

Compensation: $6 - $6 an hour
