Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a motivated Recruiter to join our team in Warren, OH. This on-site role manages the full-cycle recruitment process to attract and hire top talent across departments, working closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and build candidate pipelines.

You will conduct initial screens, coordinate interviews, maintain ATS records, and ensure a positive candidate experience with timely feedback.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of recruiting experience, high volume preferred.
• Experience with ATS and recruiting tools.
• Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruiting.
• Able to travel as needed.
• Must report to the office daily.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies.
• Establish positive working relationships with hiring managers to ensure an effective and efficient partnership.
• Source candidates using online platforms, job boards, referrals, and networking events.
• Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate in-person or virtual interviews with hiring teams.
• Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and recruitment records.
• Attend job fairs, campus recruiting events, and other networking opportunities as needed.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and feedback.
• Stay up to date on recruiting trends, industry news, and competitive hiring practices.
• Take a proactive and passionate approach to all duties assigned.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools
• Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruiting
• Familiarity with sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.
• Ability to maintain a positive, professional, and solutions-focused attitude in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to report to the office daily
• Availability to travel as deemed necessary based on business needs
