The role involves supporting candidates through the hiring process, onboarding new hires, and maintaining personnel files. Candidates should have a relevant degree or equivalent experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. AVI Foodsystems is looking for an Human Resources Onboarding Specialist at our Headquarters Service Center in Warren, OH.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support and process candidates through the hiring process
• Serve as the primary contact, communicate policies, and send welcome materials
• Arrange office tours/introductions as needed
• Introduce new hires to company systems, culture, and team members
• Collect new hire paperwork and update/maintain accurate personnel files
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements
• Communicate onboarding processes with applicable parties
• Participate in various projects within the Human Resources Department
• Provide ongoing support

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study or 3 years of human resources experience preferred
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
