Job summary

Mark III Construction in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Recruiter to support our growing MEP, Components and Service teams by managing full-cycle recruiting and delivering a high-quality onboarding experience for new hires. This office-based role collaborates with HR, Safety, IT and Payroll.

You will source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, conduct phone screenings, coordinate interviews, and maintain recruiting metrics to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of recruiting or HR coordination experience.
• Construction or skilled trades recruiting are strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with ATS/HRIS and Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Position Overview

Mark III Construction is seeking a Recruiter support our continued growth of our MEP, Components and Service teams by managing full-cycle recruiting and delivering a high-quality onboarding experience for new hires. This role plays a critical part in attracting talent and ensuring a smooth transition from candidate to employee.

Mark III is a full-service construction company comprised of three complementary business units: M3 MEP, M3 Service, and M3 Components. We support projects from initial concept through long-term maintenance, with specialized expertise in healthcare, higher education, industrial, life science, and technology markets.

Our integrated, big-picture approach allows us to self-perform electrical, HVAC, plumbing, process piping, prefabrication, and MEP design. By consolidating these services under one organization, clients benefit from reduced profit layers, minimized scope gaps, and simplified project schedules—working with a single, accountable partner rather than multiple consultants and subcontractors.

Headquartered in Sacramento, California, Mark III operates throughout California and Nevada. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility serves as a centralized hub supporting five core trades: HVAC, mechanical piping, plumbing, electrical, and metal-stud framing. To support our continued growth, we will be relocating from our current combined 62,000 square feet of office and operational space to a new 340,000-square-foot headquarters at 2031 Optisolar Lane, with the move planned for completion by the end of Q3 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for the field
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs

• Coordinate end-to-end onboarding process

Compliance & Process Improvement

• Ensure compliance with employment regulations
• Maintain confidentiality of records

• Support audits and HR projects

Qualifications

Position Requirements

This office-based role requires prolonged periods of sitting, working at a computer, and occasional standing or walking. The employee must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds as needed.

Salary Range $80k - $95k DOE and you would qualify to participate in Mark III Annual Bonus Plan
