Amazon is seeking a Recruiting Specialist (contract) to identify and engage top talent in a high‑volume environment. You will source, screen, and conduct initial interviews, partnering with multiple hiring managers to build a strong pipeline while adhering to guidelines and metrics.

Based in the US (Herndon, VA / Arlington, VA / Seattle, WA), this 12‑month role is staffed by Allegis Global Solutions and pays $31–$41 per hour.

Qualifications

Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Amazon through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by a contract staffing supplier and will not be an employee of Amazon.

Job Summary

This position plays a vital role in identifying and engaging top talent in a fast‑paced, high‑volume recruiting environment. Working closely with multiple hiring managers, you will focus on the early stages of the recruitment funnel, including sourcing, screening, and conducting initial interviews with candidates. Operating within established guidelines and procedures, you will contribute to building a strong talent pipeline while working under direct supervision. This role requires someone who thrives in a metrics‑driven atmosphere and can effectively manage competing priorities while maintaining quality standards. You will be responsible for ensuring a positive candidate experience from first contact through the initial screening phases, utilizing your knowledge of recruiting best practices and industry‑specific sourcing techniques.
