Job summary

Invesp is seeking a hands-on Recruiting & HR Generalist to own hiring and people operations for our US teams. You will build job posts, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.

You’ll also onboard new hires, manage contracts, handle HR inquiries, and keep payroll and handbook up to date, collaborating with sales and technical hiring across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in an agency or a small company where you ran hiring.
• Experience hiring for sales and technical roles.
• Recruitment across more than one country.
• Excellent written English for candidate emails and job posts.
• HR generalist tasks such as onboarding and employee questions.

Responsibilities

• Screen resumes and conduct first-round calls.

About This Role

We're Invesp — the leading conversion optimization agency in North America. We've run over 52,000 A/B tests, helping companies like eBay, 3M, and O'Reilly increase conversions and grow revenue through data-driven experimentation.

We hire often, for the teams that run our CRO work, sales, marketing and technical roles. We want one person to own hiring.

Recruiting (about 70% of the job)

• Write job posts and put them on LinkedIn and the job boards that fit each role
• Find candidates yourself on LinkedIn and anywhere else they are
• Screen resumes and run the first-round calls
• Set up interviews with hiring managers and keep every candidate updated
• Run reference checks and background checks
• Put together offers and get them signed
• Keep a clear list of open roles and where each candidate stands, and give us a short update every week

HR (about 30% of the job)

• Onboard new hires, from the paperwork to their first week
• Keep the employee handbook up to date
• Answer the team’s HR questions
• Prepare employee contracts
• Get new hires set up with payroll
• Handle the steps when someone leaves

You’d be a good fit if you

• Have 3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally at an agency or a small company where you ran hiring yourself
• Have hired for sales roles and technical roles, since we hire both
• Have recruited people in more than one country
• Write clear English, because you’ll write job posts and candidate emails every day
• Have done some HR generalist work, like onboarding and employee questions
• Can work hours that overlap with US Central time

It helps if you’ve worked at a marketing or digital agency.
