ROLE OVERVIEW
Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, the Recruiter/HR Generalist will own the full recruitment cycle for a wide range of roles across the business — from property management and acquisitions to finance and operations. In addition to recruiting, this role will contribute to core HR functions including onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)
- Manage full‑cycle recruiting for roles across the organization, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and closing candidates
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, networking, referrals, and direct outreach
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, develop compelling job descriptions, and align on candidate profiles
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, manage candidate communications, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the process
- Track recruiting metrics (time‑to‑fill, source of hire, offer acceptance rate) and provide regular updates to leadership
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Stay current on real estate industry hiring trends and proactively identify talent pools for anticipated openings
HR Generalist Support
- Help facilitate smooth onboarding experiences for new hires, including documentation, systems setup, and orientation coordination
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures
- Assist with performance review administration and maintain employee records in compliance with applicable laws
- Support HR compliance efforts, including I‑9 verification, policy updates, and required employment law postings
- Assist in the development and rollout of HR programs, including employee engagement initiatives and training
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 3–5 years of recruiting experience, ideally with exposure to real estate, property management, or a related industry
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with both candidates and hiring managers
- Working knowledge of HR best practices and basic employment law
- High degree of organization, attention to detail, and follow‑through
Preferred
- Experience recruiting for property management, acquisitions, asset management, or construction roles
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
- Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Rippling, Paycom)
