Superior Skilled Trades in Houston is seeking an experienced Skilled Trades / Construction Recruiter to manage high-volume recruiting for skilled trades roles within the construction industry. The role requires 2+ years of dedicated recruiting to skilled trades and involves sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.

Location is Houston, TX with a full benefits package and monthly incentives. 40+ hours per week with occasional evenings/weekends to meet staffing deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dedicated recruiting to skilled trades / construction roles
• Strong sourcing skills
• Proven ability to work under pressure with high-demand requests
• Bilingual a plus
• Strong organizational skills with multiple open positions
• Excellent written and verbal communication; build rapport quickly
• MSP/VMS experience a plus
• Avionte, JazzHR, and Fieldglass experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment process for skilled trades roles: sourcing, screening, and interviewing
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, and networking
• Partner with account managers and leadership to understand client staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions
• Communicate regularly with candidates to ensure a positive hiring experience
• Accurately maintain candidate data, employee files, and compliance requirements
• Occasionally work evenings or weekends to meet urgent staffing deadlines

Candidates must have 2+ years of dedicated recruiting to skilled trades / construction roles(we arenotconsidering those with primarily light industrial, manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare, IT, tech, etc. backgrounds).

• Location:Houston, TX
• Salary Range:$50,000-65,000/yr (depending on experience)
• Incentive:$2,500-$3,500 in monthly incentives/commission
• Hours:40+ hours per week (occasional evenings/weekends as needed)
