Overview:
The purpose of the Recruiter role is to develop and build relationships with healthcare professionals, finding employment through temporary and permanent staffing, while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires independent judgment, problem-solving, timely follow-up, and strong sales skills.
This position is remote eligible for candidates with healthcare staffing experience prior to 2020 only.
Responsibilities:
- Proven success in this role is supported by a strong work ethic, personal drive, market awareness, and resilience in overcoming obstacles.
- Meet or exceed effort and activity metrics and achieve monthly sales goals as set by leadership.
- Prospect candidates through cold calling, texting, web postings, job boards, referrals, social networking, and inbound communication.
- Build and manage a book of business from scratch, maintaining a pipeline of candidates at various sales cycle stages.
- Conduct phone screens and interviews, review work information, negotiate compensation, and match candidates with open job orders or future opportunities.
- Verify background information, including references, educational degrees, drug screens, and other employment verifications, in compliance with quality assurance guidelines.
- Ensure all pre-hire qualifications are met and documented in the CRM system before proceeding to interviews.
- Collaborate with client-facing teams to match and present qualified clinicians for current openings.
- Partner with the onboarding team for all aspects of employee and client placement.
- Serve as the primary contact for clinicians to promote retention through contract extensions and reassignments.
- Build relationships with colleagues by helping others, supporting team goals, and resolving issues professionally.
- Prioritize and organize work responsibilities efficiently through planning and time management.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, meeting or exceeding company score goals.
- Contribute to a positive team culture with a solution-oriented attitude.
- Represent the company's mission and values in all business interactions.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proven success and/or longevity in previous roles.
- Self-motivated with a drive to meet or exceed placement goals and a passion for helping clinicians.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to organize, multitask, and work with urgency and efficiency.
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and put in effort to succeed.
- Proficiency in MS Office and internet applications; ability to learn multiple software platforms.
- Comfort with technology platforms.
- Professional communication skills, both written and oral.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
- Motivation to succeed and achieve goals.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- At least one year of recruiting, sales, or related experience.
- Experience in staffing industry.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Experience with customer service, call centers, sales, or cold calling.
- Proven ability to sell or close deals through consultative techniques.
