Job summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking a Recruiter to support multiple locations and business units in the company’s operational hiring needs. You will work closely with the team to ensure smooth recruitment from application through initial steps in background checks and onboarding.

The role requires at least two years of recruiting experience, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and strong sourcing skills. Occasional travel to nearby facilities is expected.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
• Extensive experience in using candidate sourcing tools for recruiting.
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize a diversified workload, meeting established deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs.
• Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings within an assigned territory.
• Serves as an expert for recruiting candidates within an assigned territory and business category.
• Uses traditional and nontraditional resources (career fairs, online job fairs, community events) to identify, attract, and source quality candidates.
• Develops advertising programs to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
• Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
• Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (benefits, compensation, noncompete agreements).
• Manages current candidate activity in the ATS.
• Ability to travel to nearby facilities once a week.
