Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to support the growth of a healthcare services organization. This position will focus on recruiting qualified clinical professionals, with an emphasis on proactive sourcing, relationship development, and outreach.
This is not a traditional recruiting role where candidates are simply sourced from job postings. The ideal candidate will be comfortable picking up the phone, developing relationships, networking, and actively seeking both active and passive candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and recruit qualified healthcare and therapy professionals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, training programs, and professional organizations.
- Build pipelines of graduating students and experienced/passive candidates.
- Conduct proactive phone, email, and online outreach to potential candidates.
- Coordinate and participate in career fairs, job fairs, networking events, and other recruiting events.
- Develop creative sourcing strategies beyond traditional job boards.
- Conduct phone screens and virtual interviews to assess qualifications, experience, availability, and fit.
- Manage candidates through the recruiting and onboarding process.
- Partner with internal teams to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Track recruiting activity and KPIs and adjust sourcing strategies based on results.
- Maintain strong communication and relationships with candidates throughout the process.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of recruiting/staffing experience with a strong focus on sourcing.
- Healthcare recruiting experience strongly preferred; experience recruiting clinical professionals is a plus.
- Demonstrated success with passive candidate sourcing and direct outreach.
- Experience developing relationships with schools, colleges, universities, or professional organizations.
- Comfortable making phone calls and proactively engaging candidates.
- Experience coordinating or attending job fairs and recruiting events.
- Strong communication, listening, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to track and speak to recruiting KPIs and performance metrics.
- Self-motivated, organized, persistent, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong employment tenure and a demonstrated history of recruiting success.
