The Recruiter at Jax is responsible for delivering measurable hiring results across a fast-paced, multi-location organization with a front-line workforce. This position manages full-cycle recruiting for assigned
locations and positions while maintaining disciplined recruiting processes, accurate data, strong hiring
leader partnerships, and a positive candidate experience.
This role requires more than candidate sourcing and coordination. The Recruiter is expected to own their
recruiting pipeline, understand and use recruiting data, anticipate staffing needs, identify barriers to
hiring, and take action to improve results. The Recruiter uses UKG Ready, Excel, recruiting technology,
automation, and other tools to manage workload, improve efficiency, and provide visibility into recruiting
performance.

- Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions and locations, from requisition intake and postingthrough sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer, and handoff to onboarding.
- Own recruiting performance for assigned positions and locations, using applicant flow, interviewactivity, conversion, aging, source effectiveness, and other recruiting data to identify gaps and takeaction to improve results.
- Partner with hiring leaders to understand and forecast staffing needs, establish hiring priorities andtimelines, develop proactive recruiting strategies, and provide ongoing visibility into progress, risks,and required actions.
- Create and maintain accurate and compelling job postings and source candidates through jobboards, internal applicant sources, referrals, direct outreach, recruiting events, and other channels;adjust sourcing and advertising strategies based on applicant flow, market conditions, and results.
- Conduct a high volume of candidate outreach and phone screens, evaluating qualifications,experience, availability, compensation expectations, interest, and alignment with positionrequirements.
- Proactively manage candidates through each stage of the recruiting funnel, including scheduling,rescheduling, interview follow-up, dispositions, offers, and candidate communication to minimizeunnecessary delays and candidate drop-off.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and timely candidate, requisition, interview, disposition, and hiringinformation within UKG Ready, ensuring the ATS serves as the primary system of record for recruitingactivity.
- Maintain visibility into recruiting performance through reporting and analysis of applicant flow,interviews, offers, hires, conversion rates, requisition aging, source effectiveness, and other KPIs;communicate trends, risks, and recommended actions.
- Proactively follow up with hiring leaders to obtain timely interview feedback, candidate decisions,dispositions, and other required actions; identify and elevate recurring barriers that impactrecruiting performance or candidate experience.
- Use Excel and recruiting data to analyze pipeline performance, identify bottlenecks and trends,evaluate recruiting effectiveness, and support data-driven decisions and workforce planning.
- Coordinate and host onsite job fairs, hiring events, and community recruiting activities, includingevent planning, advertising, candidate communication, materials, scheduling, administration, andpost-event follow-up; support field leaders in successfully executing local hiring events.
- Ensure an accurate and timely handoff from recruiting to onboarding and training, includingcompletion of required pre-employment steps and coordination of new-hire information and first-week training requirements.
- Manage assigned recruiting requests and priorities in accordance with established service-levelexpectations, ensuring candidates and internal customers receive timely, accurate, respectful, andsolutions-oriented support from initial request through resolution.
- Follow established recruiting SOPs, workflows, ATS requirements, documentation standards,background screening and pre-employment processes, while identifying and escalating process orcompliance concerns.
- Leverage recruiting technology, automation, AI-enabled tools, and continuous process improvement to increase efficiency, candidate responsiveness, data quality, and recruiting effectiveness; cross-train and provide recruiting coverage as business needs require.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or anequivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably supporting high-volume, multi-location, frontline, retail,hospitality, service, or similarly distributed operations required.
- Working knowledge of recruiting, selection, background screening, and applicable employmentpractices required.
- Hands-on UKG Ready recruiting/ATS experience preferred.
- SHRM other HRCI certification preferred.

- Effective communicator, with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, a professional phonepresence, and the ability to engage candidates, frontline employees, site leaders, senior leaders, andexternal partners.
- Service-minded, providing candidates and internal customers with timely, respectful, accurate, andsolutions-oriented support while consistently meeting established service-level expectations.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
- This position is onsite five days per week.
- Requires up to 20% travel to company locations, job fairs, recruiting events, and other businesslocations based on hiring needs.
- Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends based on hiring events and business needs.
- Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, and move between work areas and company locations throughoutthe workday.
- Ability to regularly use a computer, keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other standard officeequipment and review information presented electronically and in written form.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through electronic communicationwith candidates, employees, leaders, and external partners.
- Ability to occasionally bend, reach, stoop, and lift or carry recruiting materials or other items weighingup to 25 pounds.
- Work may be performed in a combination of office, recruiting-event, and active car washenvironments and may include exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, vehicle traffic, andwet, slippery, or uneven walking surfaces.
- Ability to safely navigate operating locations, including parking lots, wash facilities, and otheremployee work areas as needed to perform recruiting responsibilities.
- Must comply with all applicable safety procedures, site requirements, and dress/uniform standards.
