Job summary

Camaco in Lorain, OH is seeking a skilled Recruitment professional to manage full-cycle hiring for hourly, skilled trades, technical, professional, and salaried roles across manufacturing operations.

You will partner with HR and plant leaders to forecast staffing needs, source top talent, and drive timely offers while maintaining compliant recruitment practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, withfull-cycle recruiting experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing, automotive, industrial, or skilled trades recruiting experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience coordinating interviews, offers, and maintaining candidate engagement throughout recruitment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly production, skilled trades, technical, professional, and salaried roles from requisition through sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer, and pre-employment handoff.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR leadership to understand staffing needs, compensation parameters, hiring priorities, and timelines; develop recruiting strategies.
  • Proactively source active and passive candidates via job boards, networks, referrals, social media, schools, partnerships, and events.
  • Develop and maintain pipelines for high-volume and difficult-to-fill positions in manufacturing, skilled trades, technical, engineering, quality, and leadership roles.
  • Screen candidates for experience, qualifications, compensation expectations, availability, shift requirements, and fit; present qualified candidates to managers.
  • Coordinate interviews, facilitate feedback, prepare offers, and maintain candidate communication throughout process.
  • Identify recruiting barriers and recommend solutions to HR leadership.
  • Manage relationships with staffing agencies and external partners; evaluate effectiveness and candidate quality.
  • Coordinate and participate in job fairs, events, and partnerships to strengthen pipelines and visibility.
  • Maintain recruiting records and monitor metrics like open requisitions and time-to-fill; provide staffing updates.
  • Ensure compliant recruitment practices and confidentiality of information.

  • Proactively sources active and passive candidates through job boards, resume databases, professional networks, social media, referrals, direct outreach, schools, community partnerships, workforce organizations, and recruiting events.
  • Develops and maintains qualified candidate pipelines for high-volume and difficult-to-fill positions, with a strong focus on manufacturing, skilled trades, technical, engineering, quality, and leadership roles.

  • Maintains accurate recruiting records and monitors key metrics, including open requisitions, requisition aging, candidate pipelines, interviews, offers, acceptance rates, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and hiring activity.
  • Provides regular staffing updates to HR and operational leadership and demonstrates ownership and accountability for assigned requisitions and recruiting results.

Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, with demonstrated full-cycle recruiting experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing, automotive, industrial, or skilled trades recruiting experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience recruiting across multiple levels, including high-volume hourly production, skilled trades, technical, professional, and salaried positions.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively source and engage active and passive candidates for difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Experience partnering directly with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, evaluate candidates, and drive timely hiring decisions.
  • Experience managing multiple open requisitions and competing hiring priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience utilizing staffing agencies, recruiting firms, job boards, applicant tracking systems, HRIS/HCM systems, and candidate sourcing platforms.
  • Experience coordinating interviews, extending approved offers, and maintaining candidate engagement throughout the recruitment process.
  • Experience using recruiting metrics, labor-market information, and candidate feedback to evaluate recruiting effectiveness and adjust sourcing strategies.
  • Experience supporting job fairs, hiring events, school partnerships, workforce development programs, or other community-based recruiting initiatives preferred.
Education
  • Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and directly related recruiting experience may be considered.
