Position Objective
The Recruiter/HR Assistant will provide support for the talent lifecycle for Sunbelt corporate as well as multiple plants on an as needed basis. The position combines hands‑on recruiting responsibilities with day‑to‑day HR support. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and brings strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the full cycle recruitment process including job postings, resume screenings, initial interviews, and candidate communication. Manage agency relationships and oversee any outsourced recruitment.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective sourcing strategies and pipeline building.
- Maintain applicant tracking system.
Human Resources
- Assist with new hire onboarding, orientation, and completion of required documents
- Maintain employee files and HRIS with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
- Support benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- 5 - 10 years of relevant experience
- Good understanding of HR practices and recruiting fundamentals
- High school diploma
Preferred Skills
- Associate’s degree in a relevant field preferred
- Bilingual abilities
Job Requirements
- Able to successfully pass a criminal background check (following a conditional offer of employment)
- Speak fluent English in order to communicate with other employees and clients verbally and in writing
- Available to work moderate overtime throughout the year with heavier overtime requirements during busy seasons
