  • Call/write to prospective students and those who do not return.
  • Attend scholarship committee meetings to assist with scholarships.
  • Assist with advising and career development services during enrollment periods.
  • Develop promotional brochures, posters, folders, calendars, and other recruitment materials.

Job description

Promote the college in order to increase student enrollment; coordinate recruitment activities with area high schools; provide informational materials and services to prospective students, counselors, and the community at large. Provide advisement during registration, enrollment periods, and throughout the year. Must adhere to a flexible work schedule and perform other job-related duties as directed by the President, Dean of Student Affairs, and Student Affairs Program Director

Salary: Appropriate placement on the Alabama Community College System Salary Schedule E3: (Salary range: $41,349 - $66,218)

  • Develop and/or assist the Dean of Student Affairs and the Student Affairs Program Director with creating and approving promotional brochures, posters, folders, calendars, and other recruitment materials.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited university/college is required.
  • Experience in recruiting or sales is required.
  • Excellent public speaking, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel for recruitment purposes
