Job summary

Evlo AI in New York, NY is hiring a Recruiter to own full-cycle hiring for software engineering, data science, product, and infrastructure roles. You will partner with technical hiring managers to evaluate candidates across backend, frontend, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, ML, and data platforms.

Based in New York with a hybrid schedule, you will build reliable talent pipelines for a growing technology organization and deliver a clear, responsive candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of recruiting experience in technical roles.
• Experience managing multiple full-cycle searches across software engineering, data, product, or infrastructure.
• Strong sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, referrals and technical channels.
• Working knowledge of technical concepts and programming languages.
• Experience with ATS and recruiting tools such as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Gem.
• Excellent written communication, organization, stakeholder management, and candidate closing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; bonus: distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, ML, security, or data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for engineering, data, product, and infrastructure positions including intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management, and closing.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, calibrate on technical profiles, and maintain structured interview plans.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, referrals, technical communities, and targeted outbound campaigns.
• Screen candidates for experience across Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, AWS, Kubernetes, SQL, and ML systems.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, interview stages, feedback, and reporting in an ATS such as Greenhouse, Lever, or Ashby.
• Track funnel metrics; recommend process improvements.
• Deliver timely communication and support equitable hiring practices.

Success requires strong sourcing judgment, disciplined pipeline management, and the ability to translate technical requirements into compelling outreach and structured interview processes.

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for engineering, data, product, and infrastructure positions, including intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management, and closing
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, calibrate on technical profiles, and maintain structured interview plans
• Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, referrals, technical communities, and targeted outbound campaigns
• Screen candidates for relevant experience across technologies such as Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, AWS, Kubernetes, SQL, and machine learning systems
• Maintain accurate candidate records, interview stages, feedback, and reporting in an ATS such as Greenhouse, Lever, or Ashby
• Track funnel metrics including response rates, onsite conversion, time-to-fill, offer acceptance, and source quality; recommend process improvements
• Deliver timely, thoughtful communication throughout the candidate experience and support consistent, equitable hiring practices

What We Are Looking For

• 1-3 years of recruiting experience, preferably supporting technical roles at a technology company or recruiting agency
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple full-cycle searches across software engineering, data, product, or infrastructure functions
• Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, referrals, Boolean search, and other technical talent channels
• Working knowledge of technical concepts and programming languages, with the ability to assess candidate experience against role requirements
• Experience using an ATS and recruiting tools such as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Gem, or similar platforms
• Excellent written communication, organization, stakeholder management, and candidate-closing skills
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, communications, or a related field preferred; Bonus: experience recruiting for distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, machine learning, security, or data engineering roles
