Job summary

SIMOS in Memphis is seeking a Recruiter to support high-volume light industrial staffing. You will collaborate with hiring managers, source, screen, interview, and guide candidates through offers and onboarding.

You will build and maintain candidate pipelines, manage paperless recruiting, monitor ad campaigns, and represent SIMOS at job fairs and community events while ensuring compliance and accurate records.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in high-volume, fast-paced recruiting with ATS systems.
  • Strong prioritization and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • MS Office knowledge.

Job description

Overview

As a Recruiter, you are part of a team of highly skilled recruiting professionals working on high-volume light industrial positions for SIMOS. This position will provide staffing and recruiting solutions relied upon by our clients. This position requires an extremely perceptive person, who can relate to individuals at all levels. This role will not only manage the inside processes of candidate applications but also will also be responsible for working within the community and with tools provided to attract and gain candidates needed to supply our customer needs through grassroots initiatives, networking, and fieldwork.

Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and job requirements


  • Develop and execute a recruiting plan and deliver effective orientations


  • Source and screen resume to identify qualified candidates


  • Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications


  • Manage the hiring process from offer to onboarding


  • Create an ongoing candidate pipeline


  • Manage paperless recruiting operations


  • Monitor the effectiveness of all ad campaigns


  • Participate in job fairs and community events


  • Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure our internal systems are updated and compliance is met


  • Proactively seek new avenues to attract candidates (Building networks within the community)


  • Manage daily information / candidate data tracking, identify potential areas of improvement, provide information to the SIMOS Operations team, resolve problems, participate in meetings, and maintain a high level of candidate and stakeholder satisfaction.


  • Relationship management includes handling escalations, communicating recruitment progress, and managing expectations.



Qualifications


  • 2+ years of experience in high volume, fast-paced recruiting process, along with ATS and systems knowledge


  • Must possess excellent judgment to prioritize work, handle multiple projects at once, and meet objectives/deadlines.


  • Understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes and best practices


  • Knowledge of MS Office software: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word


  • Strong communications skills, both oral and written


  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills


  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others, be a team player, and work independently


  • Ability to manage a large workload promptly



Salary Range

$22.64 - $28.30 per hour, depending on experience and geographic location. Please note that actual compensation offered may vary based on local pay requirements, and will meet or exceed state-specific minimum wage or salary thresholds.
