Job summary

Carex Consulting Group is seeking a relationship-driven Recruiter to join the manufacturing partner in Madison, WI. You will lead full-cycle recruiting for production, professional, and technical roles, building strong relationships with hiring managers and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

You will collaborate with onsite staffing partners, develop talent pipelines with universities, participate in career fairs, and help implement a UKG ATS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in HR, business, or related field.
• 3+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, including manufacturing or production.
• Experience in full-cycle recruitment for hourly and professional/technical roles.
• Experience using ATS/HRIS; familiarity with UKG is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing, professional, technical, and corporate roles, focusing on the Madison facility.
• Build partnerships with hiring managers, production supervisors, and team leads to understand workforce needs and develop sourcing strategies.
• Collaborate with onsite staffing agency to support production hiring and maintain a strong candidate pipeline.
• Support recruiting initiatives across locations with site HR managers.
• Proactively source, engage, and attract qualified candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, networking, referrals, and innovative methods.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from outreach to onboarding.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines through co-ops, universities, and community orgs.
• Monitor time-to-hire, quality of hire, and early turnover to improve outcomes.
• Assist with implementation and optimization of UKG ATS and recruit analytics for decision-making.
• Provide labor market insights and strategic hiring recommendations to managers and leaders.
• Represent the organization at career fairs and events to strengthen employer branding.
• Identify opportunities to engage veterans and second-chance candidates and improve recruitment processes.

This individual will play a key role in attracting top talent, building strong relationships with hiring managers, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience. The ideal candidate thrives in full-cycle recruiting, understands the unique hiring needs of a manufacturing environment, and has experience developing talent pipelines for production, professional, and technical roles.

This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on workforce development, strengthen recruiting strategies, and support continued organizational growth. The role is onsite at a 24/7 manufacturing facility, with day-to-day flexibility and occasional travel to other locations, career fairs, or recruiting events. Candidates must reside in the Madison, WI area.

What You'll Do

• Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for manufacturing, professional, technical, and corporate positions, with a primary focus on the Madison facility.

• Build strong partnerships with hiring managers, production supervisors, and team leads to understand workforce needs across all shifts and develop effective recruiting strategies.

• Collaborate with an onsite staffing agency to support production hiring needs and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates.

• Support recruiting initiatives across additional locations, particularly for professional and technical positions, in partnership with site HR managers.

• Proactively source, engage, and attract qualified candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, networking, employee referrals, and innovative sourcing strategies.

• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial outreach and interviews through the transition to HR for onboarding.

• Develop and maintain talent pipelines through co-op programs and partnerships with universities, technical colleges, and community organizations.

• Monitor recruiting effectiveness, quality of hire, and early employee turnover to identify opportunities for improving hiring outcomes and retention.

• Support the implementation and optimization of a new UKG applicant tracking system (ATS), leveraging recruiting analytics to improve processes and decision-making.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and organizational leaders by sharing labor market insights, recruiting trends, and strategic hiring recommendations.

• Represent the organization at career fairs, networking events, and community outreach initiatives to strengthen employer branding and attract qualified talent.

• Identify opportunities to engage new talent pools, including veterans and second-chance candidates, while continuously improving recruiting processes and strategies.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 3+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, including experience recruiting for manufacturing or production environments.

• Demonstrated success managing full-cycle recruitment for both high-volume hourly positions and professional or technical roles.

• Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and human resources information systems (HRIS); familiarity with UKG is a plus.

• Strong candidate sourcing, interviewing, relationship-building, and talent assessment skills.

• Ability to establish credibility and build productive relationships with hiring managers, production supervisors, team leads, and employees across all organizational levels.

• Understanding of manufacturing operations and the ability to effectively navigate the hiring needs of a fast-paced, multi-shift production environment.

• Proven ability to manage multiple open requisitions, balance competing priorities, and adapt to changing business needs.

• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.

• A proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented approach to recruiting, with a focus on continuous improvement and candidate experience.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
