Job description

About the Role

Premier Plastic Surgery Partners is seeking a highly organized, relationship-driven Healthcare Recruiter / HR Manager to support our growing network of plastic surgery practices.

This is a unique role combining oversight of our core HR and payroll functions with a significant focus on practitioner recruiting. Approximately 10 hours or less per week will be dedicated to payroll and general HR responsibilities, with the majority of the position focused on identifying, recruiting, and placing plastic surgeons and mid-level providers across our locations.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable managing the details of HR administration and proactively building relationships with physicians and advanced practice providers. This person will play an important role in ensuring our practices have both the HR infrastructure and clinical talent needed to support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
Practitioner Recruiting | Primary Focus
  • Lead recruiting efforts for plastic surgeons and mid-level providers, including PAs and NPs, across Premier Plastic Surgery Partners locations.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified practitioners for both current openings and anticipated future needs.
  • Proactively source candidates through professional networks, online platforms, industry organizations, referrals, residency and fellowship programs, and direct outreach.
  • Manage the practitioner recruitment process from initial sourcing and screening through interviews, offer coordination, contract negotiation and acceptance.
  • Build relationships with prospective candidates and effectively communicate the opportunities, culture, growth potential, and value proposition of joining Premier Plastic Surgery Partners.
  • Partner with practice and company leadership to understand specific provider needs, market opportunities, timelines, and candidate profiles for each location.
  • Coordinate interviews and site visits between candidates, physicians, practice leadership, and corporate leadership.
  • Maintain recruiting pipelines and provide regular reporting on candidates, open positions, recruiting activity, and expected placements.
  • Assist with compensation discussions, employment offers, and transition from candidate acceptance to onboarding.
  • Continuously identify new sourcing channels and recruiting strategies to improve the quality and speed of practitioner placements.
HR & Payroll | Approximately 10 Hours or Less per Week

The position will also oversee the company's routine HR and payroll responsibilities, including:

  • Payroll Administration: Coordinate and manage payroll processing, employee changes, deductions, and related payroll administration.
  • Employee Lifecycle: Manage standard onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, and personnel records.
  • Benefits & HR Administration: Support benefits administration and respond to routine employee HR questions.
  • Policies & Compliance: Maintain HR policies and practices and help ensure compliance with applicable employment requirements, including state employer tax accounts.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a resource for managers and employees on routine HR matters, escalating more complex issues when appropriate.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, HR, or a combination of these disciplines.
  • Healthcare recruiting experience strongly preferred, particularly experience recruiting physicians, surgeons, advanced practice providers, or other clinical professionals.
  • Experience managing or coordinating payroll and general HR functions, preferrable through ADP TotalSource .
  • Strong sourcing skills with the ability and willingness to proactively identify and directly approach potential candidates.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build credibility with physicians, executives, practice managers, and employees.
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of recruiting goals and timelines.
  • Experience working in a multi-location healthcare organization is a plus.
What Success Looks Like

Success in this role will be measured primarily by the ability to build a sustainable practitioner pipeline and successfully place high-quality surgeons and mid-level providers across our locations. The successful candidate will also maintain an efficient and responsive HR function, allowing the majority of his or her time and attention to remain focused on recruiting.

Why Join Premier Plastic Surgery Partners?

This position offers an opportunity to have a direct impact on the growth of Premier Plastic Surgery Partners. Rather than simply filling open positions, the HR Manager / Healthcare Recruiter will help build the clinical teams supporting our practices and play a central role in our expansion.

For someone who enjoys relationship building, recruiting, healthcare, and working in a growth-oriented organization, this role provides an opportunity to see a direct connection between their efforts and the company's success.
