Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, scheduling, offers and onboarding support.
• Partner with hiring managers to clarify workforce needs and implement recruiting strategies.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking events and referrals.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current openings and future needs.
• Conduct phone and virtual interviews to evaluate qualifications and culture fit.
• Coordinate candidate communication throughout the hiring process.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS.
• Develop recruiting campaigns for high-volume and hard-to-fill roles.
• Represent PowerGrid Services at career fairs and industry events.
• Ensure recruiting activities comply with employment laws and company policies.
• Track metrics and provide updates on hiring activity and effectiveness.

PowerGrid Services is hiring a Recruiter in Hartselle, AL, onsite. This role supports full-cycle recruiting across field support, technical, and corporate functions, with emphasis on sourcing, candidate screening, and building long-term talent pipelines while promoting a consistent candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, scheduling, offer preparation, and onboarding support.
• Partner with hiring managers to clarify workforce needs and implement recruiting strategies.
• Source candidates through professional resources, job boards, social media, networking events, employee referrals, trade schools, and community partnerships.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines to support both current openings and future hiring priorities.
• Conduct phone and virtual interviews to evaluate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
• Coordinate candidate communication throughout the hiring process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Develop and execute recruiting campaigns to support high-volume and hard-to-fill roles.
• Represent PowerGrid Services at career fairs, industry events, and workforce development programs.
• Ensure recruiting activities align with employment laws, regulations, and company hiring practices.
• Track recruiting metrics and provide regular updates on hiring activity and recruiting effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience (required).
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting platforms.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and recruiting technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience recruiting for utility, power generation, electrical, construction, or field service organizations.
• High-volume recruiting experience.
