Job summary

PowerGrid Services is seeking a forward-thinking Recruiter to drive full-cycle recruiting across field support, technical, and corporate roles. You will attract top talent, cultivate relationships, and build sustainable pipelines to support growth and operations.

You will partner with hiring managers, manage high-volume requisitions, and promote our employer brand to deliver exceptional candidate experiences. Local candidates preferred for commutable coverage to Hartselle, AL.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition (required).
• Experience recruiting field support, professional, and technical roles preferred.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting platforms.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and recruiting technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, scheduling, offer preparation, and onboarding support.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
• Source candidates through professional resources, job boards, social media, networking events, referrals, trade schools, and partnerships.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Conduct phone and virtual interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
• Coordinate and facilitate candidate communication throughout the hiring process.
• Maintain accurate candidate records within the ATS.
• Develop and execute recruiting campaigns for high-volume and hard-to-fill roles.
• Represent PowerGrid Services at career fairs and industry events.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company hiring practices.
• Track recruiting metrics and provide updates on hiring activity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition (required); experience recruiting field support, professional, and technical positions is preferred but not required.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting platforms.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and recruiting technologies.

Preferred Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Recruiting for utility, power generation, electrical, construction, or field service organizations.
• High-volume recruiting experience.

Working Conditions

• Work is primarily performed in office or approved remote location dedicated home office environment utilizing standard office equipment.
• Position requires extended periods of sitting and computer use.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
• Requires close visual acuity for reviewing sourcing resources, candidate profiles/resumes, and system data.
• May require occasional travel to support networking or career fair recruitment initiatives.
